Hello, one. Hello, all! Allow me to extend the warmest of welcomes as you, my dear reader and friend, explore the brand-spanking-new Wondercade website.

Perhaps you’re already acquainted with the witty, wordy world of Wondercade and count yourself among the roughly 200,000 subscribers to our free weekly newsletter. Or perhaps you’re new here, filled with curiosity and ready to plunge headfirst down the rabbit hole. (Rule of thumb: While I fully endorse rabbit-hole-plunging, I want to stress extreme caution in drinking the contents of bottles marked only with a “Drink Me” label. Unless you’re brazen like me, in which case, drink away.) Regardless, congratulations on making the brilliant decision to be here now — I couldn’t be more pleased to see you. (I can’t really see you; we’re not one of those websites that tracks your data. Cookies are for Muppets.)

Because whether you’re a longtime reader or just stumbled upon this article after clicking some random link from Google, gimongous things are happening. Right here. Right now.

Wondercade is my collection of random musings. It’s a sideshow carnival for the senses. A center stage of spectacle. It’s a trove of treasures, a missive of mystery, a plethora of puzzles. More specifically, though, it’s all of the stuff that I (and fingers crossed, YOU) find fascinating, fun and fabulous: dining and drinking, destinations and design, entertaining and entertainment (and clearly, alliteration). And every week, without fail, we present a new game that teases your brain and challenges your mental mettle. Which brings me to my very exciting announcement…

I AM PROUD TO PRESENT, right here in the center ring, under the white-hot digital spotlight: Wondercade.com! Consider me your ringmaster and impresario, as I welcome you to this always-on cavalcade of curiosity, deluge of delights and surplus of surprises. Step right up (okay, click right up) and be enlightened and amused! Here, under this permanent big top on the interwebs, you will find a vast archive of the stories we’ve run since our inception, including special collections — like all of our cooking recipes, from the likes (and kitchens) of culinary luminaries Bobby Flay, Alex Guarnaschelli, Wylie Dufresne, Grant Achatz, Kristen Kish, David Rose, Christina Tosi, Andrew Zimmern, Roy Choi, and my spectacularly delicious husband, David Burtka. Marvel at all the beautiful and bizarre finds that fill The Emporium, my curated collection of products, merch (swag, as the kids rarely say) and unique-to-Wondercade deals. And finally — quiet down, please, quiet down, this is important — in just a few short months, we’ll be rolling out our Games section, including a never-before-seen, daily puzzle (it’s a bit like Wordle, perhaps not as frustrating), and a magical digital currency (that’s nothing like Bitcoin) which you can cash in for fabulous prizes
