Go Nuts with These Coconut Macaroons!
No cookie basket is complete without 'em.
Ain’t no party like a holiday party, because at the holiday party cookies don’t stop. We’ve given you tons of amazing recipes for sweets this year so far, and we aren’t done…not by a long shot! Here’s a coconut macaroon recipe from the absolutely gorgeous Apparatus Room in downtown Detroit. Leave these for Santa and you’re GOLDEN. (Just like these cookies.)—NPH
I love making cookies for the holidays as an addition to the mainstay desserts — folks can take them home, or perhaps they’ve had too much turkey and just want a sweet bite to end the evening. These coconut macaroons are fantastic as they’re gluten free by nature, and a delicious blend of crunchy and gooey. —Duncan Spangler, Executive Pastry Chef of The Apparatus Room at Detroit Foundation Hotel
